Here’s why:
- During their eight weeks of service, Lifechangers missionaries receive instruction from experienced urban ministry practitioners, both in a classroom setting and on-site in the communities they serve.
- Lifechangers learn how to share Christ one-on-one and through sports evangelism, children’s Bible clubs, and a variety of other ministries.
- Lifechangers practice the spiritual disciplines of daily prayer, Bible study, and journaling.
- Lifechangers learn the value of living a simple life in Christian community with their other team members. Meals are shared, the team regularly worships together, and use of television and other electronics (computers, MP3 players, video games) are kept to a minimum.
- At the end of the summer, Lifechangers return to your churches with fresh experiences and new perspectives on urban ministry, ready to serve in their local congregations.
